Sweet & Sassy BBQ Sauce – 16oz

When I started really getting into BBQ sauces, I began looking more closely at the ingredient lists on store bought sauces. I couldn’t believe all of the artificial ingredients they were made with. Out of frustration I started making my own, and guess what?! They taste even better than anything you can find in the grocery store. The results speak for themselves.

For poultry, Sweet & Sassy is the best homemade BBQ sauce, NO exception. It. Is. DELICIOUS. I always intend to maybe save part of each batch I make, but that never happens. I slather it all over chicken, burgers, brats and what ever else gets in its path. Sweet & Sassy was made to compliment poultry, we found that this is a fantastic sauce on smoked chicken wings. It also goes well with smoked or grilled pork ribs. We intend to test this in a crock pot with something like a pork loin to test it’s versatility. It’s sweet to the taste but not overly abrasive and it’s got a nice sassy bite to it.

The most typical type of barbecue sauce is tomato-based. The tomato in these concoctions is almost always in the form of ketchup, although there are exceptions to that. Tomato-based BBQ condiments became the most common in America during the middle 20th century. These sauces are tasty and versatile, and we would like to share our creations. Along with being flavorful, they are made without additives, preservatives, or flavor enhancers. Read our ingredients and the ingredients on your favorite store bought sauces. You can pronounce our ingredients and they are recognizable.

Rated an 8-10 on the yummy scale !!!

Ingredients: Cider Vinegar, Ketchup, Ground Celery, Brown Sugar, Worcestershire Sauce, Pepper Flakes, Honey, Sea Salt, and Black Pepper
