Hasta-La-Vista Basting Sauce 6 Pack
Basting is a cooking technique that involves cooking meat with either its own juices or some type of preparation such as a sauce or marinade. The meat is left to cook, then periodically coated with the juice. You can use several liquids for basting your meats. Melted butter, pan drippings, broth or a combination of these ingredients make a great basting medium and are frequently used. Hasta La Vista Basting Sauce is a special blend.
There are four primary methods of basting: brush basting, thread basting, spray basting, and pin basting. Thread basting uses long temporary stitches (sometimes done by hand and sometimes done with a longarm). This is the most traditional form of basting, but it is probably the most rare today. Brush basting is the most common and you may have already used that method.
Mix paprika, chili powder, cumin, brown sugar, black pepper, oregano, white sugar, salt, cayenne, or whatever you like in a nonreactive bowl. Add cider vinegar, soy sauce, water, and Worcestershire sauce and mix well. Gus has mixed that already so all you need to do is pour from the bottle into a bowl and brush it on the grilling food.
As the name suggests, this sauce comes loaded with an outstanding south of the border punch. Prepared and aged with Mexican spices that take whatever you use this on to a whole other level.
Shake and baste your meat during cooking to receive the best flavor this sauce has to offer. You need to shake this sauce because the oil and other ingredients will separate. Recommendation: Best on Beef, and it’s also good on pork, lamb, wild game, and poultry.
