Aluminum Charcoal and Ash-Scoop are an easy way to add fuel to the fire when needed. This unit is made of cast aluminum and built to last. Charcoal is a lightweight black carbon residue produced by strongly heating wood in minimal oxygen to remove all water and volatile constituents. Charcoal is also black and requires a good hard scrub to clean your hands. As pellet grills have gained in popularity, so have the different types of available pellets. This scoop works equally well for adding pellets, charcoal, wood chips, or chunked wood to the cooker. I’ve emphasized charcoal more because that’s what most people use.
