Description
What you really need is an electric charcoal starter to get your grill going. With this unit all you need to do is cover it with charcoal, plug it in, and wait 7-10 minutes for the coals to light. The good thing about using electric lighters is there is no lingering after taste like when you use lighter fluid or flaming embers from burning paper.
We recommend you couple this with a charcoal chimney if you don’t already have one and our charcoal coraller to make it easier to get lit coal where you want it. This unit gets the flame going regardless of outside temperatures or moisture so if you’re like many people, you can BBQ all year and the fire is the least of your worries.
Chimneys are another highly useful tool. You can load the electric lighter, pour in the coal, and plug it in. There will barely be enough time to go to the refrigerator and grab a beverage.
Electric fire starters offer a faster and cleaner way to start your charcoal. So fast in fact, that you may even feel the need to light up your charcoal grill on a weeknight! Gone are the days when you needed to use lighter fluid or paper to start your fire. Food cooked over charcoal tastes differently when lighter fluid is used. And as far as using paper, no need to worry about flaming embers blown by the wind and starting a fire. With this unit all you need to do is plug it in.
Usage:
Pile charcoal on top of this unit and plug it in. You’ll see sparks as the coals begin to light. Pull the starter a few inches back and keep heating until all the coals are lit. Once the fire starts fully (usually around 10 minutes or less), pull the starter away and turn it off.
And the best part about this Electric Charcoal Starter is it’s made in America.
