Grilling Cage with Wooden-Handle
Ergonomically designed, you can hold it for long and no discomfort. The wood handle has the advantages of high anti-scalding effect and non-slip. Grill baskets are high-sided perforated metal pans that let the smoky flavor and heat in. Baskets keep small foods from falling through the grates and incinerating in the flames below. With a grill basket on deck, you can use the grill to cook delicate foods or produce cut into small pieces.
Grill a bunch of broccoli, mushrooms, or shrimp all at once in this non-stick grilling cage with wooden-handle, which flexes to accommodate a large quantity of food.
To prevent kabobs from sticking, rub olive oil onto the hot grates before you put the kabobs on the grill. Soak a paper towel with olive oil, then hold the towel in a set of tongs and rub the oil all over the grilling surface. The skewers are then rotated by hand while the frame stays in position. The second method is to insert a skewer part-way into a hole on the side, push it through the desired chunks of food, then insert the pointed tip into the hole across the frame. This way the entire frame can be flipped over at once.
Cooking times:
Meats, such as chicken and beef, need 12-15 minutes total.
Fish, shellfish, and vegetables require about 10 minutes.
Grilling consistently over medium heat is better than using high heat. You’ll get tough, burned, or scorched pieces above 400F. This set keeps food away from the surface of the grill. Delicate foods like fish can be kabobbed without sticking and falling into the fire. Baste food over an open flame for better results.
While I have never tried this, it’s recommended you preheat your grill and the grilling cage with the cover closed for about 10 minutes. This will help to keep the vegetables from sticking to the basket.
