Reusable Steak Button
Using a meat thermometer ensures the meat is cooked to a safe internal temperature. They also prevent you from overcooking the meat. These thermometers are durable and compact which allows them to be used over and over to cook that perfect beef or pork.
Reusable Steak Button thermometers are a fool-proof way to cook beef, pork, and poultry to a safe temperature. The Steak Button® registers when the meat is rare, medium, and well done. Most thermometers require you to insert the probe at least 1/2 inch into the meat, but if the meat is thicker than an inch, you’ll probably want to go deeper than that to reach the very center.
Most meat thermometers are designed to be able to resist high temperatures. It is, therefore, safe to use in the oven while your food is cooked. But to be sure, it is best to check if your thermometer is designed to be oven-safe before putting it inside the oven. Not to worry, these are oven safe.
No more guesswork with Reusable Steak Buttons. Steak Buttons register when steak reaches internal temperature for rare, medium, and well done. Stainless Steel probe works in your oven or on the grill. Ensure your steaks and burgers are cooked to a safe point with these steak button thermometers!
CDC Recommendations:
The CDC lists the following temperature guidelines for several common types of food: poultry, whole or ground: 165°F (74°C) whole cuts of meat (beef, pork, lamb, or veal): 145°F (64°C) ground meats: 160°F (71°C)
Glass mercury thermometers are no longer recommended and can be dangerous. There are serious health risks if a glass mercury thermometer breaks. Mercury is toxic if inhaled or if the liquid touches the skin.
