Liquid Sunshine
This spirited barbecue sauce is spiked with whiskey, which adds a spiced, sweet flavor without making it boozy. The alcohol cooks off during the cooking process, making it safe to serve to kids (unless you add extra at the end). Molasses and brown sugar sweeten the sauce, and ketchup and vinegar give it plenty of flavor along with liquid smoke and Worcestershire sauce. Slather this flavorful sauce over ribs or serve it with pulled pork. It makes a tasty condiment for burgers, chicken barbecue, or just about any slow-cooked or grilled meat.
Liquid Sunshine sauce contains a smooth mix of seasonings with a special ingredient (Jack Daniels). This is a good all around sauce for all barbecued meats. We have aged this sauce to allow seasonings to properly blend with other ingredients. Before using, simmer it on low for a few minutes before lathering up the meat. Tastes best on Pork and Chicken but it’s good on all meats including beef and wild game. One of the main ingredients is Whiskey so be very careful when basting meat over an open flame with this product. Otherwise, liberally coat the meat during cooking and enjoy the ride. As with all our products, this sauce is made with NO additives or preservatives so refrigerate after opening if you have any left.
One of our partners used this sauce to make meatloaf. Nobody got drunk and fell off the couch afterwards so you should be safe. Another friend bacon wrapped chicken with this sauce. They added ground Jalapeno peppers to the sauce and wrapped breasts with bacon, and baked at 325 for 45 minutes. Last I heard everyone was asking for the recipe.
