Non-Fiction Books

Non-fiction books (or nonfiction) is any document or media content that attempts, in good faith. This is to convey information only about the real world, rather than being grounded in imagination. Non-fiction typically aims to present topics objectively based on historical, scientific, and empirical information.

The non-fiction novel is a literary genre which, broadly speaking, depicts non-fictional elements, such as real historical figures and actual events, woven together with fictitious conversations and uses the storytelling techniques of fiction.

Academic essays, travel guidebooks, school textbooks, and news reports are all examples of traditional nonfiction writing.
